Bridlington Station Remodelling
Network Rail Works Delivery
Smarttrax Rail were contracted by NWR Works Delivery to produce a development plan to complete the track element of this signalling led project. Working in close collaboration with signalling staff the plan was completed and integrated to allow the seamless delivery of all aspects of the project.
The project was undertaken during an 11 day blockade. The purpose of the works was to simplify the layout by removing redundant points from the station area. This involved removal of 13 ends of points, the renewal of 3 new ends of points and 1200m of plain line track.
